What to expect

Opening new gravitational-wave frequency bands requires new detector architectures. This talk preview looks at space-based interferometry around the 0.1 Hz band, including back-linked Fabry–Pérot interferometry and the experimental challenge of suppressing laser-frequency noise to reach useful sensitivity.

About Ryosuke Sugimoto

Ryosuke Sugimoto works on experimental concepts for space-based gravitational-wave detection at SOKENDAI and ISAS. His research includes interferometric detector architectures and precision techniques aimed at extending gravitational-wave observations into lower-frequency bands that are difficult to access from the ground.
